Last night I stumbled upon a blog of a business owner. He wrote his experiences on a seminar in China.
He said, one of things he learned from his trip is... Exchanging business card using both hands and bowing.
Yes, business card is very very important when you are in business. Other clients can remember who you are and they can contact you using information from your business card.
It reminds my experience when I worked in Japan. I did learn exchanging business cards with clients using both hands. Then you say "yoroshiku onegai shimasu"(use to ask someone to do something) and bowing to your client. If you hand over your card using a hand, it considered as 'non-business manner' or 'rude'.
For me, it's a unique and interesting culture. From my experience, I felt honor and appreciative when using both hands to exchange business cards.
It's very simple. You hand over your card using both hands and you also receive other' card using both hands as well.
Maybe bowing is not our culture but I think using both hands to exchange business card looks professional, polite and it means you are ready to do a business.

Kekura III : Tak nak ahhh. Aku jalan lambat dan nanti aku nak sampai sini lagilah terlambat. Nanti sure nkorang bedal makanan ni semua..
Kekura II : Takk lah. Kita orang tunggu sampai nko datang.
Kekura III : Betul??? Kalau aku lambat 1 jam?
Kekura I & II : Kitorang akan tetap tunggu

Kekura I & II : Kitorang akan tetap tunggu
Kekura III : Kalau 1 hari ??
Kekura I & II : Kitorang akan tetap tunggu
Kekura III : 5 hari????
Kekura I & II : Kitorang akan tetap tunggu
Kekura III : 1 minggu?
Kekura I & II : Kitorang akan tetap tunggu
Kekura III : 2 minggu?
Kekura I & II : Kitorang akan tetap tunggu!!!!!!! nko pegi jek lah!!!!!!!!
Dengan berat hati, akhirnya Kekura III pun berangkat.
Kekura I & II menunggu dengan setia. Sehari, dua hari dan seminggu telah berlalu, Kekura III tak jugak balik balik. Setelah dua minggu berlalu, Kekura I & II sudah tidak dapat menahan lapar…
Kekura I : Aku dah tak tahan lapar ni . Kita makan jek lah
Kekura II : Aku pun dah nak pensan ni. Jom ahh kiter perabih makanan ni
Tiba-tiba Kekura III muncul dari blakang semak…
Kekura III : Hoii !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nasib baik aku belom pegi lagi… kalau tak sure nkorang abiskan makanan ni kan kan??

A Funny Truth
A couple days ago, I registered myself on Malaysia's government website to use some features there.
You gotta put your EXACT name just like on your IC. I tried to register but email confirmation told me that it wasn't successful because my name DOESN'T match with my IC number. Hmm.. I tried it again and I thought it caused by 'binti'. I skipped 'Binti' at first registration.
I was very confident my registration would be successful at 2nd time. But then.. arghh.. Still.. UNsuccessful.
Curious with what happened, I took my IC and read it again. "Camne lak bole failure ni!" geram la jugak kan.. hehe..
By the way, gov's wsite is linking to Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara record. So, if they detect an error, they will reject your application immediately.
After looking at my IC for a minute, I just realized there is a 'weird' on my name. It should be NOOR but on IC, it has been written as N0OR! Ok, do you realized what's going on? My name is supposed to be has two 'O's, but a people at Jabatan Pendaftaran made a mistake and typed 0(zero) and O!
So, you 'cannot' call me 'nor' bcoz my name is N-0(zero)-O-R. hehehehehehhe....
Finally it answered a question on my head for several years coz memang perasan satu 'O' kecik, n satu 'O' lg bigger than the other one. I thought it was printing issue, tak sangka langsung it is 0(zero).
Then I continued the registration by typing N0OR.. And you know what? IT WAS successful!
Hmm lepas ni, nampaknye kena apply new MyCard. Leceh kan! Because of other people's mistake, kita kena dok buang masa hours and hours to apply a new card.
Morale of the story:
1. Takyah letak nama anak NOOR.. bcoz ada possibility a mistake happens just like me. hehehe.. :D
2. After collect IC kt Jabatan Pendaftaran, be sure you check yours IMMEDIATELY. Jika ada any mistake, you boleh reapply again on the same day. :P
Oh by the way, this is the 2nd time my IC has a mistake. At first, alien card(IC in Japan) also had a mistake. Should be female but they wrote male. So, I lived in Japan as 'male' for 4 years. Again, malas nak apply new alien card bile tgk ada mistake on the card. At last, apply gak the new one right before applying work visa in Japan. Tu pon pasal Japan Immigration dah bising2 suruh apply new one. :p
Sape2 yg working at Jabatan Pendaftaran, be sure you all tengok betul2 kat application form tu. Then type it ACCURATELY. I understand we are human who are not perfect but please please jangan berangan time wat keje.. ;)

Hantu Lebuhraya Ayer Keroh??
Sapa pernah lalu lebuhraya Utara-Selatan? Rasanya 99% dari kita selalu gunakan lebuhraya Utara-Selatan utk pegi bekerja, jalan2 dsb..
I have a story to share. It wasn't my experience but someone I know experienced this. This chick salu experience 'hantu' at her home. Since I never experienced with 'hantu thingy', to be honest it's hard to believe it.
Ok.. Let put it aside and focus on her story.
One day on the way back to her home from north to south of Peninsular Malaysia, she n hubby stopped at Kawasan R&R Ayer Keroh Melaka. It was midnight and her hubby decided to stop and take a nap before continuing their journey. Time diorg sampai R&R tu, other vehicles masih byk lagi. So, diorg pun stop and take a nap in their vehicle.
Then tiba2 this chick terjaga dari tdo. She said tiba2 je ternampak satu lembaga berpakaian putih, rambut panjang mengurai(ala2 Sadako dlm movie The Ring :p) while holding 'a baby' dan 'berjalan'(maybe kot) towards her.
She was scared and terus kejutkan her hubby. They left that place immediately and figured out takde other vehicles except them only.
I've been hearing stories about 'ghosts on highway' even though tak dpt dipastikan kesahihannya. Yerla kan, sendiri tak penah nampak, so susah sikit nak believe. Of course I intend I don't experience it for the rest of my life. heheh..
According to Japanese research, we tend to delude ourselves by imagining scary things at night. It's a mind. When we think of ghost consciously or unconsciously especially at night, we tell to mind that what we see is a 'ghost' even though ghost is not exist in front of us. That's how it works.
In other words, we delude ourselves.
Pernah experience 'burung pungguk' game time gi camping? I don't know how about you but I played that game. It was interesting game yet scary. Actually it was a part of motivation program that I joined when I was high school.
We all masuk dalam woods tgh2 malam.. Pastu dipisahkan antara satu sama lain dlm jarak say, 10 meter away. I forgot how far it was. So, duduklah sorang2 dlm hutan tgh2 malam camtu dalam masa half hour. Half hour was not long but bila duduk sorang2 terasa lama giler.. LOL
My spot was very close to anak sungai. It was very very quiet. Berbagai bunyian2 boleh dgr. I could hear daun jatuh ke dalam sungai. Ranting patah, bunyi titisan air jatuh, bunyi derapan kaki(even tho takde sapa yg berjln around me) etc. Not only that, I started seeing 'a ghost like' in front of me.. hehe.. It was lembaga putih.. But bila tgk betul2, bukannye hantu. It was a reflection from moon light. Kebetulan time tu cahaya bulan cukup cunn je menerangi kegelapan malam. ;) Time tu dada cukup berdebar2 kencang..
It was a kewl experience though.
My point is, our mind is very very powerful. We can create things just by thinking of it. If you think 'ghost', you give a sign to your neurons that you see 'ghost'. If you don't want to see a ghost, then simply DO NOT think about it. Very simple, right? :)
